Latisse®
Latisse® is a prescription treatment for those who desire fuller, thicker eyelashes. This FDA-approved lash growth serum can help transform sparse or thin lashes into a lusher, more dramatic look. The secret lies in its active ingredient, which stimulates the growth phase of the eyelashes. The result? Longer, darker, and thicker lashes that truly make your eyes pop! It is a wonderful solution for anyone seeking to enhance their natural beauty and boost their confidence.

Whether you are seeking solutions for hair loss or longing for luscious lashes, we are here to support you on your journey to looking and feeling your best.
How Does Latisse® Work?
Latisse® is a remarkable solution for individuals seeking fuller, thicker eyelashes and operates on the basic principle of hair growth cycles. Each hair on our bodies, including our eyelashes, goes through growth and rest cycles. The active ingredient in Latisse®, bimatoprost, works by extending the growth phase of the eyelash cycle.
This additional growth time allows for the eyelashes to develop more length, thickness, and even darkness. It is important to note that results are not instant since the treatment aligns with the body's natural growth cycle. Patience is key, but with consistent application, users can expect to see a significant enhancement in their lashes over time.
We ask our patients to note that possible side effects include itchy eyes and eye redness, which were reported in clinical trials. Some reported that these irritations went away once they became accustomed to the product or began applying it properly. As with any prescription treatment, always consult with your doctor for information and proper usage of the Latisse® solution.
Am I a Good Candidate for Latisse®?
If you have short and stubby or thin lashes, you may be a candidate for Latisse®, a prescription treatment for inadequate eyelashes (hypotrichosis). However, Latisse® is not appropriate for everyone. Ask Dr. Niedbalski or Nurse Practitioner Allie Morehart during your private consultation to determine if it is right for you.
How Often Do I Apply Latisse® and When Will I See My Results?
Applying Latisse® is a straightforward process that can easily be incorporated into your nightly routine. To start, ensure your face is clean and free of makeup, and remove your contact lenses if you wear them. Then, using the sterile applicators provided with the product, place a single drop of Latisse® on the applicator and carefully draw it along the skin at the base of your upper eyelashes.
It is important to apply the solution only to the upper lash line, as blinking will naturally distribute the product to your lower lashes. Consistency is key with Latisse®, so remember to apply the treatment once daily for 16 weeks. If you miss a dose, there is no need to compensate with extra application. Simply continue with your regular schedule the next day.
Latisse® works gradually, aligning with your body's natural hair growth cycle. You may start noticing changes in the length and thickness of your lashes as early as 8 weeks into the regimen, but the most dramatic results are typically visible after the full 16-week course. It is essential to understand that discontinuing the treatment could cause your lashes to return to their original state over time. Therefore, to maintain those luscious lashes, ongoing use of Latisse® is recommended.
