Non-Surgical Hair Restoration
The world of hair restoration has seen a significant rise in the popularity of non-surgical treatments. With advancements in technology and innovative techniques, these non-invasive options are providing solutions for many individuals experiencing hair loss.
These treatments are often chosen by those who prefer a less invasive approach or for whom surgical intervention may not be suitable. They offer the advantage of minimal downtime and can be a viable option for early-stage hair loss or as a complement to surgical treatments for comprehensive hair restoration.
At Northwest Hair Restoration, Dr. Niedbalski and his dedicated team understand that every individual's journey with hair loss is unique. That is why we offer a comprehensive suite of non-surgical hair restoration solutions tailored to meet your specific needs.
From medication management to state-of-the-art laser treatments and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections, our goal is to deliver results that enhance your confidence and well-being. Our approach combines the latest advancements in non-surgical hair restoration with our trademark compassionate care, creating an environment where you feel supported throughout your transformation journey.

Additional Non-Surgical Hair Restoration Services
Whether you are interested in starting medication to boost your hair growth or non-medication options that offer a cosmetic enhancement, look no further than assistance from the experienced physician and team members at Northwest Hair Restoration.
We are happy to offer a wide range of non-surgical solutions, including the following:
Rogaine® (Minoxidil)
Minoxidil is topically applied, and both regular-strength and extra-strength varieties are available without a prescription. Dr. Robert Niedbalski of Northwest Hair Restoration may advise using minoxidil to slow the rate of hair loss and preserve an acceptable appearance until a hair transplant surgery can be undertaken.
Daily application of Rogaine prolongs the hair growth cycle, allowing the hair to grow thicker and longer. It may take up to 6 months for patients to notice any measurable improvements. The primary goal of Rogaine use is to prevent additional hair loss.
Minoxidil is available in 2 percent (regular strength) and 5 percent (extra strength) concentrations. Regular-strength Rogaine is typically the recommended formula for women. However, Dr. Niedbalski often starts his female patients on 5 percent (extra-strength) minoxidil because it is significantly more effective for hair loss.
Propecia (Finasteride)
Finasteride is a prescription medication taken orally in pill form once daily. Propecia works by blocking the formation of the male hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by 60 percent. DHT is a key factor in the development of male-pattern hair loss. It is the most effective prescription treatment for hair loss in men. Studies have shown up to 66 percent of men demonstrate some regrowth after 12 - 18 months of using Propecia.
LaserCap®
Northwest Hair Restoration carries LaserCap®, a tool for stimulating hair growth. Consistently applying this specialized laser therapy to the scalp will cause the hair strand to grow in thicker and extend the life cycle of the hair before it sheds. The result is an overall reduction in the appearance of thinning and an improvement in the quality of hair growth.
Nutritional Supplements
Help Hair Whey Protein shakes are a delicious drink made with all-natural ingredients that are safe for men and women who need help with thinning, dull hair. These shakes provide much-needed structural nutrition and proteins that make your hair stronger, longer, and healthier. It is loaded with biotin and amino acids and can be used as a meal replacement for further convenience.
Cosmetic Coverups & Camouflage
A number of nonprescription products offer to camouflage thinning hair. They are applied to the scalp and/or hair to give the appearance of hair fullness. All camouflage products are offered in a variety of colors to match natural hair color. Camouflage agents may be, for some young men, an acceptable short-term solution to improve cosmetic appearance while waiting for hair transplant surgery.
